Filmmaking Camp
In a H.S. Film class, Jamir found he became very interested in being behind the camera as well as in front of it.
Jamir's teacher suggested he continue his studies at a summer camp. He recommended the New York Film Academy (NYFA). They offer several program locations, levels, and class duration. Jamir decided to start with a week-long online camp intensive in Filmmaking.

Summer Gigs in Commercials
Jamir has been in commercials since he was very young after his mom found an excellent casting agent. Every year he gets a new headshot, updates his professional acting resume, and takes acting lessons in school and privately. His agent set up several auditions over the summer, along with a few paid commercial shoots--to go into his education fund.

Community Theatre Group
Summer Production
Lexi was thrilled to get a leading character role, including a few solo vocals, in her local community's summer production. Rehearsals began in the spring, but the show premieres over the summer. She has been practicing her lines with her dad and resting her voice in between scene runs.

The Play Group Theatre
Lexi is excited to be a part of unique, collaborative, explorative, and advanced-level opportunities in multiple theatrical modalities within a joyful camp setting.
Summer Theatre Camp
As a way to further her performing experience, Lexi registers for a two-week summer theater camp.
The Play Group Theatre in White Plains, New York, offers live, online and hybrid programs all year. Lexi selected one of the Teen Co intensive performing sessions.
