Meet Maddie and Omar
Maddie and Omar are High School students who have unique enterprising interests. Maddie sells her homemade vegan cookies to help raise money for a local charity. Omar enjoys gaming and is developing a game app with a classmate. They both also participate in their school's Virtual Enterprise (VE) competition. Other classes they take are Math, Technology, Accounting, and Marketing.
The VE teacher recommended they consider Career and Technical Education programs. Computer Game Design and Programming and Animation and Digital Media Design for Omar. Maddie is enrolled in Culinary Arts and Retail Sales. She would like to own a bakery one day.
