Meet Logan and Olivia
Logan and Olivia are 10th graders at their local high school who have a passion for science. Logan would like to be a research scientist, working on discovering cures for diseases. Olivia is also excited about the thought of working in a laboratory on projects that would affect many people. How can they begin their career pathway of finding the cure for life-threatening diseases?
Olivia and Logan will take Science courses such as Biology, Chemistry and Physics, as well as Computer Technology, Coding, Statistics, Anatomy & Physiology, and Genetics. They will also explore Career and Technical Education programs such as Technology, Education, Health Science, Medical Assisting, Medicine, Medical Laboratory, Sports Medicine, Computer Information Systems, and Pharmacy Technician.
Their high school has an active Science Olympiad, which encourages students to conduct research and participate in competitions.
