High School Classes
Lexi decided she wanted to attend the Nassau BOCES Long Island High School for the Arts (LIHSA) in Syosset. Before she was accepted, she went through a multistep admissions process, including two applications, a digital audition, and portfolio submission. Her schedule is now filled with performing arts classes in dance, music, and drama, along with several program requirements.

COMPETITIONS
Lexi and Jamir are both participating in the next Musical Theatre Competitions of America (MTCA) annual festival.
Students from High Schools, Middle Schools, and Musical Theatre Studios worldwide come together for a weekend of intense learning and competing. Their mentors and judges are all professional Broadway Actors, Choreographers, College Theatre Directors, and Disney Master Class Teachers.

Community Choir
Lexi adores performing and singing on stage at school, especially musical productions. Outside of school, you can find her singing in her community choir. In middle school, she auditioned for MYO (Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of New York). She is now a member of the ensemble for high school vocalists in their Nassau Symphonic Choir program.
