EXPLORING CAREER PATHWAYS

VOYAGE II -SPACE TRAVEL

Space Travel - Pathway 4 - College Summer Activities - STEP #13 - NATASHA 1

Step 13

Natasha:

Internship #1

Natasha is ready to find summer Internships. She is excited by recent space events and scientific talk about future space travel plans to Mars. She decided the perfect summer activity would be an internship close to her college, where she can find housing and available transportation. Her astronomy professor told her to look into the Florida Space Grant Consortium internship programs.

In this step, Natasha could use your help:

  • Do some research at the Florida Space Grant website to investigate opportunities.

  • Log two findings in your journal, including any requirements, corporate sponsors, website, and job titles and deadlines.

Natasha:

Internship #2

Natasha's college, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, recently posted their co-op and internship programs. They help students get practical experience, reinforcing the theoretical concepts they are learning in the classroom.

Aerospace Corp caught Natasha's attention as an internship she might be interested in. For this step:

  • Explore other opportunities through Embry-Riddle Internships.

  • Log in your journal two other experiences Natasha might like to consider.

  • List company names, website, or any other relevant information you find.
